Full Care Boarding and Training Facility

Facilities  

Daily turnout on fifteen acres, cross-fenced into 5 acre parcels so horses can be turned out in small groups or alone

Indoor arena (190' X 70'), watered and groomed daily.

Large outdoor riding arena (120' x 275') with jumps and cavalletti
Two daily feedings of quality hay and  concentrated feed (Strategy, Equine Senior, or other according to individual horse needs) Daily stall cleaning, seven days a week
Blanketing service included in board rates

Hot water horse shower

Individual tack lockers

Instruction/Training:

Pemberley is proud to offer lessons and training with the following quality instructor/trainers
  • Eventing training and instruction with Amy McKay. Amy competed through Preliminary Level Eventing, schooled through Advanced Level,  and has conditioned horses to the 3-star level (long format). In dressage, she has successfully competed at Second Level. She is also a Graduate a Level Pony Clubber who competed successfully on the A circuit.
  • Dressage training and instruction with Katarzyna Kowallick. Kathy trained and competed successfully in Germany through L level (equivalent to USDF 3rd level).

Rates:

  • Lessons: $45 per 50 minute lesson.
  • Training: Negotiated monthly rate
  • Longe sessions (horse): $25 per hour (which may be divided into 2 (30 minute) or 3 (20 minute) sessions
  • Mane pulling: $20 per grooming session
  • Board Rate:
    • Monthly $350 (10'x12' stall), $375 (12'x12'), $385 (12'x14' stall), and $400 (12'x20' stall)
    • Overnight  $25 (indoor stall) and $20 (outdoor paddock with shelter); 10% discount for more than 1 horse

            We are located approximately 10 minutes from UIUC.

            From I-74, take Cunningham Road exit, north. Turn right (east) onto Oaks Road (which is also County Road 1850  
            North). Look for the Pemberley sign on your left. (Approx 4.5 miles)
            Useful landmarks: Past Farm & Fleet, past Country Shoppe (their sign looks like a red stop sign). The road just
            past the Country Shoppe is Oaks Road.

            From Champaign-Urbana:  Take University Blvd (Highway 150) east. Follow the signs to St. Joe. (It will
            jog to the right--don't miss it!) Pass the sign for Mayview, turn left (north) at the sign for Sellers (which is County Road
            1900 E and Highway 24). Turn right (east) on County Road 1850 North and look for the Pemberley sign on your left.

            From St. Joe: Take Highway 150 west, turn right (north) at the sign for Sellers (which is County Road 1900 East
            and Highway 24). Turn right (east) on County Road 1850 North and look for the Pemberley sign on your left.
